Instructions
Preparation
Prepare a double boiler by filling a pot with water and placing a heat-resistant bowl on top, ensuring it doesn’t touch the water.
Add the cocoa butter, coconut oil, and shea butter into the bowl. Heat gently while stirring until everything melts into a smooth mixture.
Add Essential Oil
Remove the bowl from heat and let it cool slightly for a few minutes.
Add the 10-15 drops of vanilla essential oil and stir well to distribute the fragrance evenly.
Cool and Whip
Allow the mixture to cool until it begins to solidify, which usually takes about 10-15 minutes.
Once it thickens slightly, use a hand mixer to whip the mixture until creamy and fluffy.
Transfer and Store
Scoop the whipped body butter into a clean, airtight jar.
Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Notes
This body butter can last about 6-12 months if stored in a cool, dry environment. To maintain clarity, always check for changes in smell or texture before use.
